The ACC Transitional 172 Collar Posterior Panel is for children (1/Pediatric 2) and is an extension of the Procare Transitional 172 Cervical Collar. It increases the collar’s ability to provide stability to the cervical spine and limit its movement which is helpful for young patients in terms of safety and comfort.

Features and Benefits:

1. This one limits the mobility of the neck which is helpful in cases of injuries.
2. It has a 2-piece plastic frame with Velcro straps to make sure that it is well fitted on the wearer.
3. The front and back panels have flex tabs that offer rigidity to the structure of the product.
4. It also helps in distributing pressure, reduces pain & keeps the skin dry to prevent inflammation.
5. The pads are easy to remove, and the material used to make them is not latex. They are washable by hand or you can replace them when necessary.
6. It has a large opening for use during airway interventions, checking carotid artery, and in emergency tracheostomy.
7. It is also compatible with X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
