2. The shoe also has a contoured heel. This design helps in improving the comfort of the patient and also the stability while walking. The contouring offers extra support to the heel. The heel also assists in positioning of the foot during the healing process.
3. The upper part of the shoe is constructed from a foam material and nylon mesh. This material is light and allows air to pass through hence making the wearer comfortable during use. The low profile design does not make the shoe bulky and can be worn with other regular clothing items.
