Ridgeflex Ankle Joint is made by ST&G, uses a special material called Prepalon. Prepalon is created using Continuous Fiber Elastomer Technology (CFET), which strikes a good balance between stiffness and flexibility. This technology allows for a smooth movement of tendons, offering proper support and rotational control. The continuous fibers in the elastomer give structure and prevent the joint from stretching. Unlike other joints, it doesn't need strings, and there's no need for a denser elastomer for added tear strength. The flexible elastomer increases tear strength, while the blended fiber enhances support.
